Comet NEOWISE COLLECTION
Comet NEOWISE C/2020 F3 graced the Summer skies in July of 2020 with a brilliance unseen since Hale Bopp visited the inner solar system back in 1997. NEOWISE was a beautiful comet and was most notable for its long, split tail and its brilliance in the predawn and early evening skies. My artistic approach to imaging the comet was to try to integrate it into the landscape as it skirted the low Northwestern and Northeastern skies. This amounted to rapid shooting efforts on the few nights when low atmospheric conditions afforded clear views. To preserve the beauty of Comet NEOWISE I have created several open edition fine art prints that are made with the finest materials available and careful attention to detail.
